Because they always got decisions that's why you were confident they'd win, not because they were that good. And you also knew they were screwed whenever they were down to 10men they lost everytime that season when they were a man down Wigan, Birmingham (If their goal wasn't wrongly disallowed in the 0-0), ManCity, Spurs etc... but most of the time Chelsea got away with red cards they should've received but didn't... and a load of other decisions. Congratulations they beat a lower league team 1-0 in the cup final where they played no one leading up to also.

Really wasn't. They were screwed without decisions on their side. Got away with so many bad ones offsides both ends of the pitch, pens both ends of the pitch, red cards not given etc...if you noticed, on the rare times Chelsea got red cards that season (which was nowhere near the amount they should've had) they always struggled.

Who cares, Chelsea still haven't won anymore PL titles even since Abramovic than both ManUtd & ManCity who are also on 5 each since a few years after Abramovic came in fact. Also you're talking about the club's not the "team's"...aside from a few players you can't really say this 2010 Chelsea team is the same Chelsea as 2005 & 2006 where there was more of feel like they would be extremely hard to stop the following season. And ManUtd have retained the PL many times before Abramovic and even after Abramovic ManUtd retained it twice, Chelsea haven't retained the PL anymore than ManCity have which is just once. ManCity winning 3 out of 4 this season is also a better period than Chelsea have ever had and they do it more convincingly as did ManUtd when they'd win it as opposed to Chelsea's style. Also my point was about how strongly you compete. Chelsea didn't even come close to retaining the PL title in 2011 (and any other year they won it apart from the only year they did retain it 2006), not surprising as they were lucky to win it in the first place which was my main point. ManUtd came much closer to retaining their titles in seasons they didn't win it I.e 1994/95, 1997/98, 2009/10 & 2011/12....Chelsea 2010/11 weren't that good at all was my point and in the summer of 2010 for so called champions I fully expected them NOT to retain it so they couldn't have been that good. ManUtd very easily could've had 7 PL titles in a row from 2006/07 to 2012/13 if the PL actually would allow a team to win more than 3 in a row, which it doesn't hence giving it to Chelsea in 2010 it brags about being the most entertaining and unpredictable league in the world so the same winner constantly doesn't support that claim and it isn't something neutrals want, but the best team was still ManUtd during this period. Chelsea only had 1 PL title in 8 seasons from 2006/07 to 2013/14 and it should've been none.

The Chelsea double team of 09-10 were absolutely magnificent and played possibly some of the best football in the Abramovic era. In fact, they became the first team in league history to score more than a 100 goal (a record 103 goals) since 62/63. Man C broke this in 2018 with 106 goals. They also had a perfect Win-Win record, home and away, against Arsenal, Man U and Liverpool.

@@cddb5408 OK, let's say Liverpool threw the 1st goal of the penultimate league game of 2009-10, at home to Chelsea with the Gerrard backpass, Chelsea still scored another goal with Lampard in the 2nd half to win 2-0. So, forget the backpass and Chelsea still win the game 1-0. In the league game between Utd and Chelsea in April, the Drogba goal was way offside but Macheda handballed the Utd goal in that game, so Chelsea still win 1-0 because of Joe Cole's 1st half goal anyway.

Only Kanu was a Portsmouth player that season. Campbell had gone back to Arsenal from Jan to until the end of the season then joined Newcastle later that year for 2010/11 season. Muntari won champions league with Inter in 2010 because ManUtd controversially exited CL in QF vs Bayern. Otherwise ManUtd beat Inter just like they did the previous year vs Mourinho & in general they don't struggle vs Inter in CL.

All I get from watching our lads then is the sadness I feel watching us now. We are sliding to a mid table club. Our board are blind as well as no ambition. Our manager who we loved as a player, lacks the skills or experience a top 4 club needs. His team selections, formations and subs are all very questionable. Our players have not a ounce of creativity,passion,pride or the quality we need if we are to compete at top level. We desperately need at least 4 top class starters to have any chance at all. But like most of at least the last 6 seasons we are asking for prime meat but will get mouldy vegetables! Ive followed us now all over Europe for 48 years and have never felt as angry,sad and let down by our club as now! But of course why should the club care? They just run a business Its us daft supporters with the emotions!

No ambition? You won the league a couple seasons ago, won the Europa league last season and are currently in the last 16 of the UCL, 4th in the league and still in the FA cup. Chelsea are fine, stop moaning.

The thing the good top teams have always been good at is strengthening the squad after a winning season. you know your weaknesses and upgrade them. We have never done that. We have this idea Why break a good thing! Well we are now at the stage where we are paying for that. We have won 4 from our last 12. We have Lamps with some idea of turning us into the saviours of the England team with a squad of all English players whether it hurts us or not. I dont support England I support Chelsea and I couldnt care less the nationality of our lads. We need a big overhaul. We have a forest full of deadwood. in the squad and on loan. They have to go. But it COULD be so different. With 5 top class starters we could be beating the Scousers AND across Europe. But we lack that ambition to do it. I've served my time and earned my right to justly moan. You should hear the moans and groans coming from the supporters around the Matthew Harding. Supporters that have been following us longer than me!

@@nethanlock5008 ​ He is one of the only ones to have said what many of us are thinking. It is the armchair new supporters, other worse off clubs and tourists that think we should feel lucky. We are on the rocky road to being bang average in all levels of the club.
