I would add that whilst not being very good at checking the quality of any unheard - improvable..players...., They went for those who were popular on demand.... even though those players were very expensive....but they were ready to pay the extra money.. Chelsea fan here...they took a lot of risk.

Season 21/22 was joy after freshly won UCL and great form at the beginning then decline. 22/23 was so fricking painful and depressing. 23/24 was mixed. Preseason was hyping, start was tragic, half way trough was chaotic and ending fitting. Finally we have some stability but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Still a lot work to do. And most important thing is to keep current form and joy in our team
