Louie the Hatter was my dad's hat shop here in Detroit. Legendary. I continue the obsession with great threads & lids. Fedoras and trilbys are my hat jams, and I just bought a great new pair of tan brogues by Vintage Foundry. On sale for $200 and a fine shoe. My loafers are Bass Weejuns as well as English brands like Solovair & Modshoes. That Bailey is a nice fedora man. Cheers.

Hello My Friend! I see. Awesome, that's wonderful. Louie The Hatter, rings a bell and familiarity in my ears. The name first sounded like a old school hat shop in St. Louis, Missouri actually. That one is "Levine Hat Shop" that I was thinking. But, I'm definitely familiar with "Henry The Hatter" in Detroit metro area for sure. And, of course, "Mike The Hatter" up by Cleveland, Ohio. Are you still in the retail hat business though ? ? If so, I'll have to come check you out once I get on the road for hat travels videos coming soon on this channel. Also, if you're familiar with some of the owners and associates of some of the other good Hat Shops in your area, I'd appreciate some referrals and link up with them as well. Vintage Foundry, I believe I had purchased some footwear from them some time ago. And BROGUES, have always been a top choice in my collection for sure, since I can recall.
