ahh fair comment Donazaa and Lang. I assumed instantly it was Drogba called offside. I can understand that Sheva's offside was a much closer call. As to the referee, I recently saw an MLS game with English Ref. May have been MLS Allstar vs Celtic. Anyway as a LFC fan, and ther4 not exactly a Chelsea fan, I don't mind if the goal was disallowed. :)

The Ref was actually American - B. Hall, his name is - supposedly the best American referee according to BBC's 5ive Live coverage. Regardless, I think as Drogba played in Sheva he was offside - but excellent teamwork :)

That Drogba goal was perfectly legitimate. Can't be offside when you pass backwards regardless of the position of last defender. Problem is you can't blame MLS. The referee was from England therefore his assistants would be too. I don't know if the rules are different in the MLS, but I doubt it since all football(soccer) is required to follow a set guideline laid down by the FA. That said it's a good thing that was a friendly, cause that's the worst decision I've seen for some time.

Man uniteds club is the most valuable club in the world. Madrid only has the biggest stadium therefore best attendance sales. Over-all stadium and attendance are just drops in the bucket of what makes a team valuable, hence why Man U is so much more valuable

To be honest that match wasn't that great. The Galaxy at this time was really a horrible team. Chelsea wasn't playing on full-gear yet you can still clearly see they're a much much better team than the Galaxy. After a few weeks Galaxy has improved though more control on the midfield, largely due to Beckham, Cobi Jones should help also when he's back from injury.

Never. Also MLS has a salary cap. Two million is the total for all players combined. Some EPL teams spend over 100million to pay for their players alone. Beckham is an exception since is noted as a DP (designated player) and only two are allowed per team. So yes, quality will never be equaled or come even close, the MLS can never afford the talent like Chelsea has with this set up.

For what I see, the comentators are narrating the game the same way they would narrate a nascar race. Your tactical efforts are close to none (Apart from getting the ball, kicking it forward and hoping for someone to catch it I don't see any other thing worth mentioning...)
