@@BKcroatia well I'm an England fan, I went from not expecting them to get out the group stage at the beginning to then thinking they'd make the final by beating Croatia. Actually, I think England threw away their lead. But it's the same every time, fans get over excited only to get a reality check when the team fail to close the deal! They rightly got punished by a solid team. This Euros there's pundits saying England must win it, and are favourites. It's true they have a great squad, possibly the strongest, but I do not expect too much this time, as they have weaknesses and seem to switch between lacking belief to over confidence. It could be misconstrued as arrogance, I get that, but I think it's more like a child who gets over excited and allows their imagination to exceed the reality of their abilities. It ends in crying very often! The pundits and the fans need a middle ground of cautious optimism.

Dudu played for Dinamo Zagreb, and has scored so many goals against Hajduk Split. Full stadium of 35k people in Split would close their eyes every time he recieved a ball. Hajduk is in heart of every Dalmatian so is in mine. Deep in our souls. And .... hard to imagine... But we all love Dudu. There was never a player from Dinamo that we acctualy love. But we love Dudu, and always have. Even tho he has given us so much pain. I remember day when that butcher Martin Taylor broke his leg. Also Mladen Petrić is one of the most underrated footballers in world football. Definetly the most underrated Croatian player of all time. First time I heard of him he saved a penalty for Basel. Yeah, he saved a last minute penalty when their keeper got sent off. Later on in his career he dominated the bundesliga scoring 2 overhead kick goals in 1 season and adding a ton of top corner dust cleaning eurogoals as well. His tandem with Olić is the 2nd best in the history of the bundesliga in terms of goal contributions in a single season only behind Džeko-Grafite. And he always delivered for Croatia, always. Beast of a player. It's a shame he went under the radar of european top clubs somehow. Until we meet again...

Late 90s and 2000s England team remains a mystery to me. To have Terry, Ferdinand, Campbell, Cole, Richards, Lampard, Cole, Scholes, Carrick, Gerrard, Becham, Rooney Crouch and Owen and not to even come close to winning anything... Unbelievable. From my point of view, two major issues for England were unreliable goalkeepers and fatalist mindset - I can't count how many times England lost a game that was already won, with the worst example being 2004 Euro injury time defeat against France. I do agree that ENgland looks far better now. Talent was never an issue, so now with three good goalkeepers, a generational leader in Kane and with a stacked team full of exciting young players it doesn't seem unlikely that England might actually win something in the upcoming years.
