Enzo is like Fabregas. He needs a strong DM in the mould of Matic or Ngolo Kante by his side. At this point in time, our DMs are not consistent enough. Enzo should be benched to allow for Caicedo -Lavia ( if fit) partnership to flourish.Enzo should only play against weaker teams or a substitute when we are leading by a huge margin.

Lavia played well at Southampton before signing for Chelsea. Last season , when Enzo was out , we won most of the games. It clearly shows that Enzo is a liability.The premier league is too fast for him. It's no coincidence that 14 people agree with me so far.

It doesn’t have to. It will depend heavily on the gas s and whether they support this team (which is pretty damn talented). Cucurella has downright pleaded for some continuity, but also support. It got to the point last year our team hated playing at the Bridge. That should NEVER happen. I don’t care if they’re owned by zombie Mussolini. If we support the team and they play well, maybe they’ll win. If they win enough we make CL. If we make CL we can start to build on what looks like an exciting playing model. Blueco has always b rn a collection of investors. If Boehly sells we will have 25 or so shareholders instead of 26. As long as they hold to the vision of the project we will be ok. But WE have to do our part as well.

Todd Boehly has been a Chelsea fan since University in London. He may have made some mad decisions in chasing names when they first came in, but we know at least that he WANTS Chelsea to win. Clearlake would be happy being 4th forever. We need the balance of both. We need Clearlake’s sustainability, balanced out by Boehly’s ambition.

Fernandez shines when he plays for the Argentine national team because he is surrounded by talented players. This makes his game flow easily and the quality is top-notch. He hasn't changed when he plays for CFC, it's the same player, but the encirclement is not the same. He's mediocre when he's at Chelsea.

Like you I prefer the sustainable approach preferable one with a plan for the development of the Bridge. This isn’t to say I want to continue the merry go round of player purchases (though suspect that’s coming to an end now), but I don’t want players on £300k a week, at least not players who’ve yet to prove themselves at the club. I like the incentivised contracts, success should be rewarded, the more we achieve the more you earn makes sense from both a footballing and financial perspective. Whats not clear to me is who is behind the strategy and who ultimately has the best interests of the club. Private equity is not your friend, remember that, at some point it will expect a return on investment. When are we going to see movement on the ground development, this is what secures our long term future IMO.

They have no particular knowledge of football. We haven’t actually reached the end of Boehly’s stint as the chairman. It was set for him to step down in 2027, but we weren’t there yet. Boehly has a personal relationships with agents like Mendes, that’s how the Neto deal came together so quickly. We don’t actually know what Clearlake can and can’t do without Boehly. When we cite their ownership experience, like with the Dodgers… all of that comes from Boehly. Clearlake has never saved or run a sporting organization at all.

Boehly didnt do his job well from the beginning otherwise if all those money spent was wisely deployed in the tight players Chelsea should be talking of comoeting for the champions league now.
