Just like every album. The other songs on this album are better indeed, but be honest with me, name one song of theirs or album of theirs that isn't repetitive. DoE was incredibly generic and My damnation was still good, but still very repetitive. This album has more riffs in it than any of their other albums. I own all and listen to them frequently and i'ts really not that hard to tell if you had some ears.

No, everyone obsesses over DoE and all which was kinda cool when it came out, but now that I listen to it again as sort of a reminder, its completely generic. Even more so than some people call this generic. Some of the songs on DoE only use the first 3 frets half the time with a little generic sweep at half speed and that would be it. I just don't like it that much. Its even more repetitive than this. At least this album has more riffs like in dust to dust, some in clockwork and ...to ashes, etc. There is something. The one melody that stuck out in DoE was Sonnet of the Wretched, which was a cool song, but incredibly repetitive as some of these. I really don't understand why people think DoE is better than this. My Damnation, in my opinion, was better than DoE and their EP's even.
