That gave me goosebumps that he'd been waiting 15 years and wanted to do it right. OMG What an absolute sweetheart!! Good for you Chelsea.

I remember when Joe Koy use to be on the Chelsea Lately show. Chelsea would always tease Joy Koy a lot. It makes me realize Chelsea always had crush on him for the longest time.

I love Chelsea so much more since her and Joe got together. He has smoothed her rough edges. She has developed a softer quality. I really enjoy the softer Chelsea.

"Easter Sunday" (trailer) seemed way too white for Jo, but now I'm starting to think she might've smoothed his edges too (much). 😂 We'll have to wait and see.

@@em0_tion As soon as I read your reply. I went directly to the trailer, to see what you were talking about. I see what you meant. It didn’t feel at all on brand for him. It seemed like a white team of writers wrote it for him. And they threw in all the Filipino stereotypes, but non of them seemed to hold up to how Joe has always described them to us. Either the executives said their writers would make corrections they wanted, or Joe just tried to hard to sell his project. And he gave up what makes him really funny. When I think of Joe’s Mom I picture her from his description of her. Jos-sep come here (hands on her hips and points with her lips) and the character of her wasn’t anything like that. I’m so disappointed and I agree he lost what makes him so funny. Maybe it was Chelseas influence maybe it was pushy exec’s, maybe it was him trying to advance his career but he blew out the light that makes him Joe.

She smoothed her own rough edges. Jo came after that. Don't flip the script

SHE did the hard work, not Joe. Did you miss the several minutes of her and arsenio talking about therapy? That’s some sexist bs to say you like her more now because of what you think a man has brought to her life.
@maryallison05092 жыл бұрын
@@pumkin41297 I either laughed incredibly hard at her material OR I cringed because it wasn't my cuppa tea. It wasn't sexist it was just something I noticed about her. Since she started being in a relationship with Joe, she seems much happier and more comfortable in life. I don't know if it was therapy or a good relationship or the combination of the 2 things. Quit jumping to conclusions I didn't say anything inappropriate. I didn't attack her. All I said was she has softer edges since they got together. It sounds like you feel guilty about being sexist yourself.

Another thought. Could you imagine if Chelsea Handler ever wished to put her hat back into the Late Night ring but this time on Network TV. She is the only tried and true female host since Rivers who truly has what it takes to contend with NBC and CBS at 11:30 and they know that. NO CAP.

What was she talking about at the end? Clean comedy? What does sexism and racism have to do with what comedians are trying to do differently now? Weird, I didn't understand her. Her message about therapy is amazing though, just when you think you're all better... 👌😂
