Start of the FA (Football Association) Cup replay football match between Chelsea and Hull City. GV. Chelsea kick off playing right to left. GV. Hull attack. Player shoots. The ball goes just over bar. GV. Terry Venables with the ball in mid field. He passes to Ron Harris. GV. Harris passes to Peter Osgood. He passes to Bob Tambling. Tambling shoots and ball goes in net. GV Crowd cheering. Chelsea in the lead 1-0. GV. Hull attack. The ball is passed to Henderson. He centres. GV. Peter Bonetti cuts off the centre and throws up field. GV. Chelsea on the attack. Ball comes in from right wing. George Graham heads the ball and then Davidson heads the ball trying to clear but the ball goes to Graham. He chests it down and shoots and the ball goes in the net. Chelsea 2, Hull 0. GV. Crowd cheering. GV Hull attack. The ball is passed out to right wing. GV. Player has his centre blocked. Has another try and this time succeeds. GV. The ball goes to Simpkin who shoots. The ball goes into the net. Chelsea 2, Hull 1. GV. Crowd cheering. GV. Hull off for second half. GV. Hull attack. Butler passes to Chilton who passes to Jarvis. Jarvis centres and Chelsea player heads it out. Marvin Hinton with the ball. He passes to Barry Bridges. Bridges returns ball to Hinton. He beats Houghton and passes up field. SV. Tambling runs onto the ball, from an Osgood pass. He shoots, ball goes in net. Osgood runs forward and slams the rolling ball into the back of the net again. Chelsea 3, Hull 1. GV. Crowd cheering. GV. Hull attack from the right wing. The ball is crossed, Bonetti leaps and gathers the ball and throws out to Bridges. Bridges passes. GV. Chelsea player with the ball. He passes to Venables. Venables passes up field. SV Tambling chasing after the ball but is tackled by a defender and loses possession. GV. Hull attack. The ball is centred. Milner heads the ball, it goes to Butler who shoots and the ball is blocked on line and bounces away. GV. Players shake hands after end of match. Crowd on pitch. Crowd on pitch. Final score - Chelsea 3, Hull 1. Chelsea goes to semi-final.

After Waggy's brilliant 2 late goals to equalise at Stamford Bridge, this was a bit disappointing, but after a fine Cup run we couldn't really complain - they'd tried their best, put on a damned good show and thoroughly deserved the plaudits.
