Which is in part the reason she was pardoned. History is often only written by the victors and it’s important to know the truth rather than the propaganda we are fed. I think Mannings been through a lot; however she put herself in that position not as some curiousity but was fully aware of her treason, Assange didn't care about Manning he used people - one has to wonder about this early release of Mannings too; because there was essentially no war crime tribunal, soldiers kill, and the USA has advanced systems meaning theres an appearance of overkill - that doesn't necessarily equate to a war crime; now placing civilians or etc in gas chambers for their religious beliefs is a war crime...the USA didn't do that...I don't think Manning should have been in his role in the military...she should not be raised up as a hero either... I think its testament to the authorities that they allowed this person to undergo hormonal treatment in prison; this whole story stinks...I dont trust Mannings words..

Manning did all the major no, no's associated with data...and when having concerns went straight to the public and made no attempt to talk to their superiors... Manning was caught up in the Julian Assange psyop...and as a result did some jail time, and now is free, while Assange was protected and had his escape planned, Manning as a puppet used for Assange's own ends, endo of story... Was Wanning's whistle blowing in the public interest, I'd say but Manning is not some authority that has exceptions surrounding data, but Manning did not use any whistle blowing paths laid open to her.
