The ownership literally had a message for the fans in the match day programme last week about giving the young players time to grow and to trust the “project”. How are young players supposed to grow when there’s so much instability caused by a constant shift in management. It’s not a cohesive “project” when there’s complete upheaval all the time. Joke.

Not sure if you notice but we don’t have Terry, lampard, drogba or cech anymore to maintain order during the constant managerial shifts mate. Our team consists of practically 100% youth players who could become alienated very quickly with this constant shift in leadership. My point was the hypocrisy of the ownership, to say “trust the process” and then a week later decide to disregard that process and start all over from scratch.

Total madness! Sometimes we've gone from the sublime to the ridiculous, lack of consistency, loads of injuries disrupting things, but poch had just got us playing like a team again, with fight & backbone. Now a new manager has to start all over again. Unbelievable!

Poch got us to 6th but he also got us to 12th. Poch got us to a semi and a final that both were lost. Fact is 3 to 4 months ago the majority wanted Poch out. There is a reason fans should have zero say in what happens at a football club. The proof of that is all laid out in the emotionally driven comments below. Void of fact 100 percent emotion.

The Sporting Directors are the problem. A manager who works with the players every day, MUST, have a say in which players he wants in the team. I don't agree with those who are saying Poch will never win anything; that doesn't make any sense. At the very least, he should have been given the first 10 games of next season. I didn't agree with a number of things Poch did, however, through the very low times of the season, the spirit of the team remained quite high and by the end of the season, they did appear to be united. Poch can certainly take credit for that. I honestly hope Gallagher tells the owners to 'get stuffed' ; I have 1 year left on my contract; which I will see it out and then I'll be a free agent. Absolutely crazy to get rid of Gallagher. in our top 3 players of the year in my opinion. I'm assuming this decision was based on Poch demanding an input on selection and on players he wanted to keep. They didn't agree to it and have parted ways. It's a mistake and the next manager will have to be a puppet.

Let's face it, Poch was too Spursy for us Blues, he was never going to bring the trophies we all want to fight for. He couldn't even win the Tin Cup vs a below par Liverpool, so how can he be worth keeping? Good decision and good timing. The big question now will be who comes in and what players will they have to work with?

Unfortunately they brought the club with the clause that they can’t sell for at least ten years so at least another 8 years at this rate we are due another 20 managers in that period. They want a yes man who doesn’t complain about no players of experience and is willing to let them sell the academy players.

Well said. They don’t want a strong manager. It’s all about selling players from the academy for pure profit because they overpaid on most of the players they brought in and can’t sell them because they will lose money. Trev and Conor will go. Re-start all over again so don’t expect too much next season.

When i read this news I was kinda in shock….. still am. Poch seemed a stand up bloke. Hes played football on EVERY level. Coached tons. If a few things went different we could be way further up the table. I think he just pissed someone off and they probably pissed him off. But its baffling, yet entertaining all the craziness coming out of our club. In the end: up the chelsea! London is blue regardless of the current management stitch up!

The gaffer of Chelsea is currently Eghbali & "The Model", nothing will change until the model is changed. After the way Chelsea finished the season and the fact all the players were 100% behind him this is shambolic. Think he only started doing things 100% his way and speaking better in pressers with the upturn in results. I think it was most likely his decision to walk after it became clear they are incapable of taking advice from people with far more footballing knowledge than them and doing anything that goes against "the plan". Chelsea will end up in a Byern Munich type situation where no decent coach will wanna touch Chelsea with a barge pole alough if reported targets are to be believed we are gonna downgrade. Bet keeping Connor and Trevoh came up also, they will def. get cashed in on now. It's very sad what is happening right now, we bagged the worst owners in football. Trust the process, you just re-set it smh.

Finally we're on the same page. I'm what you might call a neigh sayer but I never called for Poch's head, my criticism has always been directed at the board and these "sporting directors". You've been staying positive this whole time but it's been plain to say how much of a pig's ear they've made it. If I were guidable i'd say they've made mistake after mistake but the truth is they're clearly gutting the club. Selling fan favorites just to cover for the cost of their f'ups is heart wrenching. I want them gone.

Take heart. Mourinho benched players he did not request. Conte walked from both Chelsea and Tottenham when they would not fully back him. Tuchel walked from both Chelsea and Bayern Munich. So Pochettino the consumate not so happy professional, can agree to walk away with his head high. The only seasoned manager for Chelsea in this suitation is Allegri. Not young, but wise and experienced. Savvy, played in several leagues and won. 5 serie A, 4 Coppa Italia, 2 Supercoppa, 2 CL finals. Too soon for Tuchel. Young and inexperienced go for Fabregas.

He lasted longer than Scolari and the muppet that went to spurs. He lasted as long as Carlo. Seemed to improve. Always needed time with other clubs. I'd like to have seen him stay another year. It was mostly his decision. He wanted transfers control. The owners want a manager that buys into the players the sporting directors buy also his training methods were potentially responsible for our extensive injury list.
