In my opinion ziyech was was too wide the whole game. Never allowing Reece to overlap. And havertz was isolated cuz no support from attacking wingers.

Both fullbacks need to invert when mason and Gallagher push up. They only did that in the final third. Second Half, Enzo barely touched the ball due to covershadow. We can then have 1 v1s out wide

In 2:49, why won't James move in to the midfield a bit close to Gallagher ,rather than staying that wide? If he moves in, he can drive with the ball in that middle cos enough space is there.... That's what Pep usually do in this scenario.

I see lots of diamond shaped formation during the build up, but it looks like Ziyech, Kai, Mount & Gallagher were very passive and ineffective, they somehow weren't active enough to help the build up. So, let's trust the process and see how it goes next season

@@MrBlueFootball Just my opinion. But we bought Havertz to play as CAM, and that's his best position other than SS. While Mount is better when he is played as Winger. Ziyech is better when he is played as CAM. Idk much about Gallagher. And Potter need a tall and/or strong target man who can finish those long ball. Potter see Auba is unfit with the criteria. And Potter thinks D.D.Fofana is unready. It's only a matter of time until we bounce back stronger

At Brighton Potter often played a back 3. Also I think he’ll want to play Chelsea’s best defenders Silva, Badiashile & Fofana, and get the best out of James and Chilwelll as wingbacks. 👍 would you play a back three?

I think Chelsea have the cbs to do this, and it’s also advantageous to the fantastic wingbacks 👍
