I knew her from when she was living in Sacramento, Ca and just started performing in seedy bars. She is genuinely an amazing person, through and through. She had a band called Red Host that had a short EP out that was pretty awesome, too. I recommend finding some of it.

Okay so was listening to Converge and Chelsea's collab Blood Moon, and thought I had once heard she's also a Sac area native so looked it up and not only confirmed, but saw that Abyss and Hiss Spun were partially inspired by sleep paralysis and sleep studies she had as a child. Well now I really have to dive into both of these albums since I've also had sleep paralysis and night terror issues since childhood.
