Excellent tips. I like pen tool trick, where you make 3 points. I used to use the pen tool using only 2 points, but this is much better!

M'am i facing a problem in making arror curve type like you make at 8.55min you make 3 point then give a curvy look but i try this but fail i am using chemdraw 16 version

I THINK that this works in Version 16 as well. The tool you need to use is the pen tool. If you click and hold, a little menu should come up. You can either select the pen and draw freehand, or select the pen with dots and draw the three points, like I did. Thanks for watching!

great job, but,I think the negative charge on the carbon attacks the carbony next to the carbon bearing the charge, not to the remote carbonyl carbon.
