Sir aapne ye joh bhi exceptions btaye hain solubility ke sb toh fazans rule se kar skte h na toh bass itna hi yaad rkhna hoga ki ye sb case me fazans rule laga de or confusion na ho iske liye humlog hamesha hi fazans rule lagaye toh ho jayga Solve? it will be easier 😅 ki solubility dekhte hi fazans rule ? Toh exceptions chhor de ? Bass ye yaad rkhna hoga ki beriiliyim oxalate and flourate zyada soluble hoga hoga sbse 😁

02:58 Fajan's rule explains the polarization and distortion of electron cloud in ionic compounds. 05:56 Fajan's rule states that a small cation, bigger anion, and high charge on cation or anion form a better covalent bond. 08:54 Size and charge determine polarizing power and polarizability. 11:52 Cations with higher polarizing power have more covalent character 14:50 Fajan's rule application in solubility and melting point 17:48 Melting point is directly proportional to ionic character and inversely proportional to covalent character. 20:46 Exceptions in Solubility 23:44 Exceptions of solubility for carbonates of alkali metals and alkaline earth metal fluorides and oxalates.

In terms of ranking them, cations have higher polarizing power when they have higher charges (Al3+ has a higher polarizing power than Be2+, which is higher than Li+) and when they are smaller, so polarizing power for cations increases across a period and decreases down a group.

23:10 For the fluride and oxalet of alkaline metal You told same explanation but actually For fluride polarization and lattice energy both following same trend except Be. Be neither following lattice nor polarization, its just excepttion.but mg to sr following lattice and polarization both. For oxalet polarization dominate for all except Be. Only Be is following latice .Be (gareeb) co³- (ameer) weak bond ,more soluble. I learnt it from your lecture. If I wrong plz rectify me

But in the second last exception we are not talking about Li+ alone or Cs+ alone, we are talking about their carbonates... Also what u r saying is hydrated radii and what sir is mentioning is Hydration energy which is the energy released during process of hydration..
