As a esthetician I have a love/hate for these type of videos. A lot of people really think chemical peels are a quick way to get “better skin”. In actuality the best way to approach these type of situations is getting accumulated to a skincare regimen and start suppressing your melanin if you are in the darker Fitzpatrick. My goal in my treatment room is to teach clients proper care then work on aggressive treatments.

I wouldn’t recommend getting this done, especially if you have sensitive skin. Acetone should never ever ever be used on the skin. It will ruin your skin’s moisture barrier, kill healthy bacteria that protects it from infections, throw its pH off balance, and cause your skin to produce even more oil to compensate for the damaged moisture barrier, which will cause even more acne later on. Laser resurfacing treatments done at your dermatologist’s office is a much safer and gentler alternative. Or you can get a similar effect alternating retinol/retin-a serums with vitamin C serums at night. And then once or twice a week using a BHA/AHA or glycolic acid resurfacing mask 1-2x a week. Does the same thing and won’t damage your skin. Never ever ever rub or scrub at your skin either. This will break the capillaries in your skin and create damage that will cause wrinkles later on. Just my two cents. ALWAYS consult a dermatologist before doing any treatments to your face. A nurse or plastic surgery office is NOT qualified.

physicians (and estheticians working under them) are the only people qualified to perform higher grade TCA peels (which is what i’m assuming this is). because of her pigmentation, using a harsher dehydrator like acetone will strip the skin to help the peel penetrate deeper into the skin. personally i would use a form of manual exfoliation before the peel but she did have active acne so that option is out ruled. BHA would be a good in between home care between peels/treatments but the result of TCA peels at a physicians grade does not compare at all to home care and the results won’t be achieved as much or quickly as these peels

Idk. This is why Im an esthetician. Harsh peels on our skin can cause discoloration. I’m not saying the peel was bad, but there’s still a dullness and gray casts to the areas you may hyperpigmentate. I think if a spot treatment method was used it’ll have the most even result in the end. That’s my opinion, but you still look great.

another point to make is that toomuch rough treatment of the skin may lead to scar like results along with the pigment changes....utmost care is required so keloid type patterns dont result with healing...and be so careful not to get so dependent on this treatment that it becomes a habit instead of an infrequent treatment.

As a fellow acne sufferer, I have since rectified that issue, I offer you the following which works wonders: 1) a week before your period, take no more than 50 milligrams a day of Zinc which will help tamper down your period breakouts. 2) You may be insulin resistant which is an underlying cause of acne. Watch the amount of carbs and sugar you are eating. You can check with your doctor to see if you are insulin resistant. These two tips are much cheaper than getting chemical peels and they work.

*What is the Gospel?* The true gospel is the good news that God saves sinners. Man is by nature sinful and separated from God with no hope of remedying that situation. But God, by His power, provided the means of man’s redemption in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of GOD, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Romans 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. JESUS CHRIST can come anytime! I had a chemical peel in my mid-fourties to get rid of everything, and it worked! I am now in my mid-fifties and have very few wrinkles, my skin tone is even, and all my scars are gone. I don’t go into the sun at all, not without sunscreen and a ball cap. I’m not one in favor of face lifts, but I’m ok with chemical peels, especially if your face has many scars and sun damage. People look at your face first when they talk to you, keep it looking nice. And you young girls...stay out of the sun or wear a hat, and do not wear heavy make up that causes acne. @@animelover-ph6rxhers is a medium peel…….deep peels like phenol peels require an IV to monitor blood chemicals (if you absorb too much of the acid through ur face it can cause organ failure) and can only be done by doctors, not nurses.

A piece of advise to all women out there who decide to go for peeling. When you skin gets dry and starts peeling off- Put aloe vera gel on your face. Helps with burning, itching of the skin and heal faster. Do not use anything but aloe vera and the glow will be woah! Thank you 🖤

Love the video! I work as an aesthetician lecturer in the Uk, and I recommend alternating a night time routine of Retinol serum , one eve & Ascorbic Acid (pure VIt C) the next. The day can be a light moisturiser with an SPF ( all skin colours) I have seen so many great results across all skin types with this regime. A natural peel of AHA or BHA monthly would help or hey even a home remedy of milk applied for the lactic acid and gentle peel it brings if your on a budget. Ultimately it’s about keeping the regeneration of our skin sped up, which sadly slows down beyond 25 😩

Your welcome! ..I’m a great believer in listening to our skin & one week in the month , I literally just wash and moisturise in the day but let my skin recover on the night . The other 3 weeks though, it’s a gentle acid every night, alternating . I swear by them and I’m nearly 50, with youthful, lined free skin.

@@Sandy-yt8sx God bless you for the information you have given. You said you are based in the UK, I'm in London. Do you do classes or have a clinic?

I’m based in the Midlands, I used to teach in an FE college but I’m now at a private academy teaching Laser/ IPL, micro-needling etc ( I need to check with HR before I name mention them on social media 😁) , but yes I absolutely swear by finding the right acid for your skin. Retinol , Lactic, glycolic , Azelaic , the list goes on ..but incorporating one will make such a difference. I find the golden marker for whether something is working is to give it 4 weeks.
@riveraspen27453 жыл бұрын
Please please please be careful! Our skin is already sensitive. If you can't handle the peeling at work or in public. Order a burka or something and like she said! Do not pick and never peel. You will destroy the process and end up scarring turning darker. Paulas choice salicylic/glycolic duo is a perfect dupe that works within a week with no down time. You can also do at home glycolic up to 50 percent with no visible peeling. I'd advice a quality medical grade hydroquinone for upkeep. Noooo ambi!!!! A good spf 30 is enough. Always wear a cute wide brim and sunglasses. You are defeating the purpose going into the sun without protection.

Girl you are beautiful, I personally think that you don't need to do this kind of aggressive procedure. Just eat clean and get a blood test, maybe some bacteria or fungal causes the breakouts. Remember every problem in your body is visible on your skin. I had acne for 14 years, I spend a ton of money on acne cleansers, makeup, laser treatment. Only antibiotics for helicobacter and oregano oil capsules for candida infections helped me. No amount of chemical peelings can cure your face if you have something in your body, the acne will come back. I hope that my message help someone.
