In my latest stream, i was searching for the deepest Degasi seabase, was entering the Grand Reef, encountered not one, but TWO WARPERS Then I made my way past them, used my Seamoth sonar upgrade to see if any Crabsquids, Ghosties, or Warpies were hanging around there, my sonar didn't pick up anything. So I pressed on, then a CRABSQUID RENDERS IN MY FACE!!! I just made a break for the Degasi caverns and found the seabase but had a third Warper on me while I was dealing with a SECOND CRABSQUID!!! AUGHHH MY LIFE IS SOOO HARD

My recommendation is getting a Prawn suit and grapple addon. With this, you can grapple to the side of the Ghost and or Leviathans under them or the side and punch them to death while you are stuck to them. The Prawn suit and grapple addon are the fastest way to travel in terms of getting to one location to another in my opinion.

I wouldn't say fastest, but i still personally prefer it over the seamoth because of the better depth allowance and more safety. I don't know if i got lucky but I literally got bitten by a ghost leviathan and took only 20 something damage in that suit. The guy in the video says it's supposed to do 50 to seamoths. However the seamoth wins speed wise, although you get style points for grappling around underwater like Spiderman.

Nice very clear instruction. I have to get that depth upgrade for my seamoth because taking the Cyclops I always worry about it getting destroyed by a leviathan. I hate wheb it gets dark it's so hard to see and creepy lol. Just last game a reaper killed my seamoth. He literally came out of nowhere. I usually hear them and then see them and keep my distance but he wasn't having any if it. Great game so far I just got the prawn suit from the Aurora and collected all the posters and Aurora model hehe.

Guys just something i learned today was that the sea treaders path on one part of the path is right next to the dead zone i kinda learned this the hard way not really i just found the dead zone but did not enter it to encounter any ghost leviathan i thought it was an entrance to the grandreef but when i used my sonar it was not. Just to let people know.

so this is my second playthrough of the game and i can't believe i just knew about this creature existing only now i went there and i was like no way i could have missed that TWICE. i was so invested in collecting materials and building that i overlooked somethings so in my replay i will not go for the launch just yet and explore further and freely

Good video, but instead of between South and South West, do between West and South West. You will skip the Grand Reef biome, and you have no chance of running into a Ghost Leviathan. If you leave the route by accident, there is dunes pretty close so you CAN hear, with bad luck encounter a Reaper, but that is rare. If you stay on your route between West and South West (directly in the middle of them, no where else) you shouldn't see a single Reaper, but you can hear one. But that route is safe, there is no aggressive fauna there.

People who are scared from the ghost leviathans can use the south-southwest path (the line between south and southwest on your compass). That's a much safer way.

Bit late but... Distance = 1550, depth 340. X² + y² = 1550². Y = 350 √(1600² - 340²) = 1512 Should be able to travel ~1512 from coral tube to treader path using only surface of the water to stay out of danger. Will edit message once I've confirmed this works. Edit: it worked so well and smoothly that I shall now be doing this every time I use a turorial

This went so bad for me oml. I aged like 10 years. Warper nearly got me, I ran screaming to fix my sea moth. Fix my sea moth, think a stalker walked into me, it was another warper. Run screaming again, pause about 92m below the surface, deciding to go back down and try again. Ghost leviathan staring me in the face. Had to take like 3 minutes before I dared to unpause the game and run for my life.
