LOL. First thing I noticed in this video was that the cabinets were trashed. Glad to see you are taking care of them. My wife regularly uses this steam/vacuum thing on our floors and it keeps them pretty clean. It is like using a normal vacuum and doesn't require getting on hands and knees. The little gadget you used seems pretty obvious for those hard to reach places, though, and I was surprised at how well it worked. Thanks for the video.

I can attest to steam cleaning 100%. I had to clean a kitchen tile floor that was disgusting! The renters had chickens, husband worked in landscaping and wore his work boots in the house, wife cooked a lot of greasy foods. The grout was originally a light sand color that was almost invisible with the tile. After the family moved out, the grout was dark, dark brown. I used my steam cleaner and it worked AMAZING! The grout and tile were like new! And it felt good knowing the floor had been sanitized.

I just bought a McCullough MC-1270 steam cleaner and am going to use it this weekend on our tile floors. I have found that toilet bowl cleaner applied to the grout and then let it sit for a few minutes works wonders. Additionally the cleaner has the nice nozzle on it that just fits perfectly in the grout line so application is very easy. I am going to take my steamer and scrub the grout with the cleaner on it. I figure it will be super fast and should give the best of both worlds. After I'm done I'll just steam the floor to clean up everything, but I'll towel up the cleaner as I go so it isn't all over everywhere. Good vid

You're DARN right you need to seal your grout. Installers of tile say NO, but that's because they get to charge you later for cleaning. And when they say "oh the grout already has sealer in it"....don't believe them. When we had our pool done that's what the said and after a couple years the grout was calcified with blotches of white at the intersections. I spent 2 days with harsh chemicals, razor blades and scrub pads. Following this I sealed it with sealer (not water based). It's been 5 years and not calcification at the joints.
