Always one more tit on the block putting his plans out there. Seems like playing banboozle to see if the code opens any doors; meanwhile it’s 10 blacked out windows Mercedes and a bus, 17 black Audis and a Skoda, 23 black BMW’s and a 40 year old mini. Obviously another selfless parable in the ether, trying to swap a rotten apple for a pot of gold.

They are called “Fruit Cocktail” trees, grafted with multiple fruits in the Okanagan, BC.

Oof. This really hit home. I, too was an arrogant, rebellious, self-entitled kid who was sure that I knew *far* more than those who had *DECADES* of experience behind them. ...and I, too, ended up wrecking stuff and looking like a fool because I refused to accept my limitations and learn enough from the experts to be able to experiment with valid confidence. Mind you, unlike *this* little fool, I lacked experts with endless patience who would oversee my idiotic experiments. The Dunning-Kruger Effect is strong in us.

I doesn't think the tree kid refused the help - it just wanted to do something DIFFERENT, something NEW. Not accepting the reasons, why should an apple tree producing only apples, because it's imagination run such wider spectrum, than it's abilities... It wanted to experiment to see the border of it's own possibilities. By my opinion, that's not exactly the same, even if some parts of actions and consequences are. (But you are free to debate, if you disagree, or think, that i dismissed some important part.)

In 1935, in the Soviet Union, a self-taught botanist wanted to grow pears on a willow tree. He was even a member of the Soviet Academy of Sciences... His name was - Ivan Michurin. Although he failed, the idea from this film seems to be inspired by it ...

Hello, it took us 3 semesters, but 1st one was working mostly on the idea, first concepts and storyboards. The production took us the next two semesters (September till May)

Hello, we mostly used Maya, some textures were made in Substance Painter and Photoshop, and we used Nuke a little for compositing
