Unfortunately, Bader's book, The Quantum Theory of Atom In Molecules, personally, is a very difficult book. It's very verbose, and the book doesn't really explain the prerequisites to understand Bader's topological interpretation of atomic and molecular physics. You have to be well versed in quantum mechanics (atomic and molecular), classical mechanics (especially Lagrangian mechanics), vector analysis, and it's helpful to understand the very BASICS of topology.

Feynman is Feynman. Although a damn great physicist, a great theoretical chemist as well, somehow! ; )
