Looks like it could be a baby brother to the snail hitch. Pretty cool too

Less complex/different tying method than the Snail hitch, but I see why you view it as similar! This hitch can easily be tied with a standard eye to eye, whereas the Snail hitch requires a longer cord. Both are great hitches! I've been holding onto this video for awhile now. Trying to post some older content before my editing style changes so much that I have to remake them. I explain the situation in my latest community post. Not sure if you saw it. I don't think many people did. Thanks for commenting as always! I hope you are well!

Would be great to have info not only how to do but also how it performs and compares

I've created, tested and made videos for 85+ new and original hitches. I simply don't have time to make demo and comparison videos for all of them. If you look at my long form library, you'll see I've recently made demo videos for my Blizzard hitch and my Synergy hitch. I did tell another interested commenter that I would try to make a demo video for the Chemistry hitch. Ultimately, only you will be able to know, based off your own experiences, whether or not a hitch is good for you. So I would encourage you to just try hitches out and worry less about my opinion of them, and focus more on your own. 🙂

I love the catalyst on my lanyard with a micro pulley, but it has a tendency to run on a MRT with hitchclimber. I'll try this one in the morning and see how it does. Thanks

Let me know how it performs! Thanks for giving it a try!

@@Knot-orious It needs another wrap I think. Seems to bite mutch better on a 16 strand vs my 24 strand main line. I'll keep it in my pocket for when I have a longer prusik to spare or a cord that's not a stiff. Sticking with my trusty michoacan for now.
