Marina, can you do more of what to expect after each session. I'm getting ready to start carboplat n taxol. But I'm totally alone and have to drive myself 4 hours each way to infusion. Should I try and spend the night the day of chemo or how do I make this work? What should I expect? Thanks for your help!! I'm 61 and had 3 major surgeries to try and stop it but now we are down to this. Thanks again!

Hi Ally! Yes, I’ll film a video addressing some specific questions next. To answer you here, I think you’d be able to drive yourself after. You’ll need water, food and rest asap once you’re home. The worst symptoms take a day to hit you, like fatigue and nausea. The day after is when you want to plan rest, hydration and anti nausea meds as needed.
