Does the free version generate PIN's (Preferred IUPAC Names) by default?
@ACDLabsInc4 ай бұрын
For PINs, you'll want to check out ACD/Name. ChemSketch Freeware does offer naming for small compounds, but our powerful ACD/Name software has full IUPAC naming capabilities. www.acdlabs.com/products/name/

Hello hello, I have a quick question! At 9:11 you have a chemical structure with numbered atoms. Now I do understand how numberting atoms works in ChemSketch however it bothers me a bit that the numbers appear to replace the atoms instead of be positioned above them. Is there any way to possible change that?

Hi! Yes, it is possible to change this. Select the relevant atoms, right click, and go into object properties. Under the "Atom" tab there is an "N" sub-tab for numbering (not the "n" sub-tab). There are some controls there - they are not the most flexible in the world unfortunately, but you should be able to make some changes.

Hello, thanks for your explanation. I get some issues with a homework. I have to calculate the the energy of elongation, angular deformation and torsion of two molecules. But I don't have the constants. Please help me!
