READ THIS!!! Hey Guys, at 3:54 I meant to say Polyatomic Ions instead of atoms. Also if you really want to master this topic then check out my Naming Compounds Flashcards here: melissa.help/namingflashcards There are over 100+ common exam questions, a periodic table with all the charges for each element, yes even transition metals and all the polyatomic ions you will need to memorize! Seriously these are a grade changer!

Hi there, in your response here you alternated from putting the + behind and then in front. Does this mean something different?
@melissamaribel
@melissamaribel 5 жыл бұрын
They both mean that the element has a certain charge, typically when you are talking about a group's charge say in this case transition metals you will see the + in front but when we are balancing the charges in a compound you will see the + in the back.

Just so you know, when she says "polyatomic atoms", she means "polyatomic IONS". A polyatomic ion is a charged particle having two or more atoms so its chemical formula reflects that.

I take an honors class and my teacher asks if we have questions and immediately says okay then moves on without waiting for questions. Then when we ask a question she gets mad and says “I’m only going to explain one time that’s it.” She’s getting paid to teach, if we’re not learning proper she shouldn’t be getting paid. I get that she has to go quicker but we still have tests to pass. That being said, thank you.

Maybe you do not understand because it is all a lie??? You know Mendeleev created this table of chemical elements and its main element was Aether , well they lizards edited it out, erased it out of the memory like it never existed without ever asking the author. Similar way the physics was changed by Einstein who was entrusted with this by London masonic lodge. They do it on purpose to hide how they poison population with what they call "heavy metals " Besides all these elements are half way fraudulent , because they originate not where they say they do and they do all possible to hide their real origin - plants and animal materials this is where it all comes from. Such as they take mercury out of bat's period blood, bats are such animals that possess echolocation, that's transferring image and sound through the distance and manipulating time, that is how they first built mirror ( mercury mixed with sand), then radar, than radio all for military purposes. That's how also they create cancer in people and many other diseases, including Mad Hatter disease - ASD( Original: " Twinkle twinkle little BAT, how I wonder where you are at? " not a " star" at all) and how they create homosexuality , autism and many other ( seemingly unrelated) diseases, including Covid 19. Also they make nuclear fuel and weapons out of those poisons things so all of this is radioactive also which they conveniently hide behind things like " viruses". All those so called models in minus nine degree size such as DNA, viruses do not exist!!! If I were you I would not get too upset about that.

Praise you for helping students like myself with Chemistry! I am going back to college and hopefully applying to med school and I haven't had chemistry since highschool almost 12 years ago! I am currently an x-ray tech and did not need any chemistry for that degree other than learning about Barium because we use Ba in our day to day job as techs. My current chem professor FLIES through the notes each week and I feel so lost! This video helped me to study for a quiz I have today! Thank you so much! I feel a lot more confident going in today.

@@melissamaribel yeah that's the problem, I have no desire to take chemistry or learn it. But because the way the college system is set up, they force to take classes that have nothing to do with your career field. (Surgical technologists) i don't understand why they force you to learn something you're never gonna use!!!!! Wasting my time.
