Chen Bing Teaching Taiji Applications

Chen Bing teaching Taiji applications/techniques based on Laojia Yilu. One wristlock and two takedowns. Presentation and practice of the technques with partner is to give better understanding of the movements and the training in general rather than usage of the particular technique in certain way. Despite the techniques are similar among many styles, the specific training methods and way of using the body are making Taijiquan unique. Enjoy!

Yes, obviously in that particular way it can not (unless it will be applied against a real newbie). In that particular way it is not supposed to handle any tough situation. Treat it as one of the basic stages of training and sort of a presentation. Thanks for watching!

@@Szczecinski_Klub_Taijiquan Chen Bing is not representative of the real Chen Taijiquan. I think he’s right. The whole village gang teaches very simple things, compared to Beijing style, Xiaojia, Zhaobao, Hulei and other good lineages.

@@Livingtree32 Chen Bing is direct descendant of people who invented Chen Taijiquan, he trained in those methods. Who are you to say he's not representative of Taijiquan? We don't know all the techniques he knows, this is just a simple training exercise. Look at videos of him taken in China - he knows much more. Silly of you to use one training video at a workshop to claim what he knows or doesn't know.

@@TheTrutherSceptic I’m not judging from this one video. And also it’s not true, Chen Bing is not in the family line of the inventor, Chen Wangting. The Dajia people come from another family line within the Chen clan. Chen Wangting’s descendants 95% all practice Xiaojia lineage, the original style. Then within Dajia you have the Beijing lineage which is also very good. The worst and least sophisticated is what the people like Chen Bing, Chen Xiaowang and so on practice. Try one of the other lines and you will immediately notice how much more quality there is. Thank me later.
