I love your tutorials!! I’m struggling a little bit with the size on this one, first I used the exact same size as you did and while the chains were the size of my lower chest, when I kept going I struggled so hard to put it on and remove it, the crocheted part is stretchy enough but the chain isn’t, so i started all over again with a bigger chain, i just hope it won’t be too big 😅 I’m wondering if anyone has any tips with this, I was thinking of adding an elastic thread to the chain so that it can be stretchy like the rest of the top? Anyone had the same problem? Still, this pattern is so simple and fun to make I don’t even mind starting all over again, so thank you Chenda ❤

I would suggest doing a half double crochet foundation chain. Foundation chains usually have more stretch than the regular chain and count as both the chain and 1st row of your pieces. It took me a while to get the hang of it but I prefer to start my projects off with it now. I found tl yarn crafts tutorial video on the different fountain stitches very thorough and easy to follow. I hope this helped :)

I had the same problem when I followed the very beginning of the tutorial, 110 chains was too short so I did 120, you should mesure the chain around your under bust before connecting it to the very first chain to see if it fits around your body without the chain stretching too much, that’s how I did, I hope it helps

this is a great pattern but it doesn't take account for people with large or sizable busts. You might want to start with a bigger chain than you think and add a waist band at the end or increase the stitches to account for your bust other than that i loved this tutorial

Answering myself couse I found out: Pull the top up to under your armpits, and reach behind to pull the top over your head first, and then your shoulders. Worked for me at least, since that's the reversed version of how I put it on.

I made this, it gave me confidence and also made me worry. I looked snatched in this, I didn't consider that being fat means bigger chest as well as I didn't use any measuring tape while making this, now my cleavage are exposed too much for my own good. You need to use a smaller crochet hook, the smaller the hook the tighter the stitch (=smaller holes)

You can always sew a liner or some bra pads into it. I promise it’s very simple, you can probably find many videos on it.

As it happens with all crochets, it will be a little see through regardless. Even if the stitch is really tight/small, with body movements the holes here and there might reveal more than it should sometimes. So for wearing it outside you'll want to sew bra pads on the tops and liner for shorts at least :) She have a tutorial on how to attach bra pads on tops!

@@Gods_own_Sybe You'll have to do increases on the next rows to create room area for the bust. How many will depend on what size is each of your stitch and how dramatic is the size change. You might need one increase every 10 stitches for a few rows, or you might need one each 2! You'll need to calculate it yourself and go through a bit of trial and error before finishing your work.
