Exactly! As long as a man is prepared to work, and is content with what he does for a job, then thats worth a lot. He's probably not going to drop down dead from stress induced illness , God willing and be around for the duration. I don't really mind so much about money. I do mind that he gets up and goes to work to earn a living. It's nice to see a guy who is passionate about something in his life. But maybe that's a personal interest/creative hobby etc, when he really lights up. But still..he has a good work ethic , and shows up each day to do what needs to be done. I love that.

He'll change if I change. Yes and no. I had a date night with my partner. We like to eat simple food, so dressing up over the top sometimes doesn't make much sense. But on that night I made some extra effort. When he saw me in a beautiful dress, he straight away changed into a shirt and took me to a really nice place for dinner. When I want him to wear something nice I just make some extra effort myself instead of telling him what to do. So in this situation it does take just one person to introduce that change. But *Run as far as you can* as Chengi suggests if he's an abusive man, if he's mistreating you. It's not your fault he's being like that and you deserve so much more 💜 I saw my dad terribly abusing my mum when I was growing up. He won't change
