Gotta be honest. Many times when fans name some of their idols “soulmates” I do not take it seriously, because it seems like they feel the need to find in every group to be at least one pair of so called “soulmates”. But when it comes to Chenji. I really do believe they are the most real soulmates. Even apart from their story, that is just mind blowing. It’s the way they are always in their own little world that they can only understand. It’s the way the always stick together. The way how they are so different from each other, yet they complete one another so well and work with each other so good. It’s literally like they are each other missing puzzle pieces and that only together they are complete. Chenle is the type of very energetic and hyper person, so there is Jisung, every time he needs to be calmed down. Jisung is the type to worry about smallest things and overthink everything he does, so there is Chenle who doesn’t let him think down on himself and always cheer him up. Chenle is a competitive person, Jisung is not. Chenle is outgoing, Jisung is an introvert. Chenle loves going out, Jisung prefers to stay indoors alone. Even when it comes to their positions, Chenle is the best singer, Jisung is the best dancer. It’s amazing to see how this two completely different humans, work with each other so well and despite all the differences they are still the closest and have nobody else who can understand them so well, like they understand each other. Also i think the phrase “Introverts do not make friends. They get adopted by an extrovert” fits Chenji so well
