Hi anubhav....The best 'Dum ka Roat' halwa in chennai is of Basha Halwawala,100+ year old shop , which is also located at royapettah..There' s one fake Basha halwa shop damn opp to the original one. You need to go to Babylon juice centre,which is also located at royapettah. How about having some roadside'KOTTHU PAROTA'. ENJOY!!!

Chennai in India is a very large industrial city that represents Asia. Food seems to be full of attractions. There was food exactly like Japanese octopus grilled. But the way of making is the same, it does not mean that octopus is included. This is a pancake shaped like a small ball. Egg Halwa looks like a sticky cake. it looks tasty. Thank you very much. Anubhav ji, I am one of your early fan and devotedly follow your vlog. But one thing i find not so likable in your otherwise fabulous work is that you share same plate food with your guide and then dig in with used finger or spoon. Asking to be served in separate plate or having an another order wouldn’t be too expensive

As a Tamilian I have to say Chennai street food variety and innovation is not even 10 % of Mumbai let alone Top 3 - Lucknow, Indore and Varanasi. Also in TN, there is no value for money. If they add something to Dosa, suddenly it becomes 100 Rs for that crap. But the North has variety, innovation all for under 50 Rs.
