Yes saranya, but not all houses need to be refurbished. When we bought our first house we didnt lift a finger. We just moved in after we got the keys.

The problem with amrican and uk houses is that they are not built to last withiut much maintenance like indian home made of brick and concrete. So we have work hard and earn more to buy and maintain house in london

Hi Narmadha. U mentioned that you had to spend around £150000 for the renovation. Will that be covered as part of the house loan or a new loan or it should be completely given out of hand from our savings? Also roughly how much initial money we have to plan and keep aside for buying a house. A simple breakdown like 5-10% down payment and then approximately how much more money we need to plan ahead

Refurbishment cost is generally not covered in the loan. As I have mentioned in the video normally banks give u mortgage for 5 or 5and half times ur yearly salary
