Do you mind sharing how frequent you re-apply manure/fertilizers? each plant is different and needs different amount of fertilizers? How do you maintain higher temperature in your glasshpuse/greenhouse. Is it only because of glass or is there any other method you use to warm up the space. Plz rey. So eager to grow what we in the hills of South india call naatu kaai Kari like podalanga,kathrikai vendakkai etc. Its too cold here to grow outside. Also,can you give brief explanation of how you made your pond and the gurgling sound... that sound is heavenly... Such great tips for composting . I too make compost with kitchen waste but you have cleared some doubts. I used to add citrus peels and cooked rice. Thank you.

I am so glad to know that you want to grow organic veg at home nirmala 😊 kudos to you. When the temperature is about 20 degrees, you don't need to use a heater in the green house, the glass itself absorbs the sun heat and radiates it inside. It will be hot inside the green house. But when the temperature is below zero during winter months, we use heater. Green house heater is available in garden centres, and also you can monitor the temperature in your mobile phone with a weather control smart device. Our pond and the cascading waterfall was designed and constructed by a landscaping expert.
