Reese is the only drama queen from last year and she'll be out of the league in 2 years unless she puts in some serious work in the gym. You know you're gonna talk about Carter's cheap shot. You know you're gonna talk about Clarkson squaring off. Think of other examples you might bring up - like the Seattle flagrants - and have them ready to show. The best basketball channels I follow splice in clips as they talk about them. Even if it's "Take a look at this then we'll talk about it." with a hard cut to the clip (no voiceover). Again, love your perspective and how you get good commentary out, but it hurts that 90% of the time it's just you looking at a tweet.

This is not a hockey league. Enforcers don’t belong in a basketball team’s strategy. For all of the garbage that has happened in the intention of punishing CC for being a skilled player, why is there no dialog about coaches setting standards and boundaries for the players? Weatherspoon should have sat Carter’s butt on the bench for the rest of the game. Instead, she either encouraged it or looked the other way. Either way, she supported the violence. The W is the way it is right now because crappy coaches and other leaders are not setting better standards & expectations.

If I'm the Fever, I would have taken up Angel McCoughtry's offer to be an enforcer for CC if CC isn't going to protect herself. If McCoughtry checks Carter into the stands after that bush league move, I bet these players are going to be MUCH more hesitant to do shit like that. Jordan had an enforcer, Mario Lemieux had an enforcer, & Bird was his own enforcer. You protect yourself or acquire someone to protect you as a star.
