Brief description of the video
In this video, legal expert Adv Kunal Seth will discuss a landmark judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court passed on 11 October, 2022 in Dashrathbhai Trikambhai Patel vs Hitesh Mahendrabhai Patel.
The Hon’ble Supreme Court held that if part payment of a loan has been made after the cheque was issued but before encashment, such amount must be endorsed on the cheque since the cheque dishonoured must represent a legally enforceable debt.
