Not only is Anderson one of the great "accidental comedians" & in an ironic twist, he is a fantastic "straight man" (the comedy partner who sets up the joke, like Gracie Allen was George Burns' "straight man", oh lol I'm an old radio nerd not 109). And professionally, they are both iconic representations of America in the early 21st century. 3.5 million spectators are leaving that parade after Santa waves for a minute. Personally I’m not a fan of my kids getting trampled, so we always left parades early. There are plenty of Santas to see, ones willing to talk with the child, not just wave from a distance.

I am about the same age as Anderson and Andy, and I'm gay. I love you two so much! I even feel jealous of both of you, being so close friends, but Andy, give Anderson some privacy. It would take massive amount of time to leave in that situation, likely terrifying a 5 year old. The boy was likely to see real Santas who actually talk with him, rather one that merely waves.

Yeah, I kinda side with Anderson on this one… I didn’t know that there was a way to see where your friends are on your phone using their location settings That sounds like an invitation to go from a neat feature to maybe get real-time updates about your friends trip -> to casual “friend watching/friend stalking” -> to full on legit friend stalking I message my buddy/housemate sometimes with a quick “where you is?”, but only if it’s way past when he’d typically be home or if I’m trying to figure out if I should make extra food for dinner I don’t need to know where my buddy is in Kentucky or where my other buddy is in Florida or my friend is in Hawaii and so on
