Fully agree ! I wish she'd go back to a more natural way of singing, instead of continuously relying on her "Believe" autotuned self. She has such an expressive voice, it's a shame that she hides it in studio gimmicks, especially since she doesn't have to. Her recent Christmas album has a lot of songs where she simply sings without electronic tweakings, and these are the album's highlights.

Incorrect. The Zoot suit first appeared in the 1930's popularized in the Black entertainment industry. It became popular in the general public in the 1940's. The Latino community picked it up followed by the Italians and other ethnic populations in the US and around the world.

I just saw a video on Tubi about Freddie Prinze. The manager of the apartment building in which he lived from childhood until leaving for California said that Prinze was giving special gifts to his closest friends. The man has a clarinet that Freddie played. He expressed interest in the manager's saxophone, so the man taught him the basics and Prinze picked it up right away. So much talent! Perhaps is was too much, too soon combined with depression, cocaine, quaaludes and alcohol. I have learned that psychiatrists regularly prescribed 'ludes' as legitimate treatment for depression. Since the drug was intended to help people sleep or as an anxiety reducer, it did not work in treating depression. I was in the fifth grade when Freddie shot himself. I will never forget hearing the news of his death.

Cher- I wish that I could have come to see a live taping of your show! Shoot, I was eleven when I went to see Carol and I was supposed to be 14! She asked me how old I was during the taping, and I could not lie to her!!!! The guest was Roddy McDowall on that one). Anyway, I love your signing and flawless dancing. Anybody who can get up there and dance with Michael Jackson or Tina Turner and not miss a step or a beat is pretty awesome, let alone give a 5-plus star signing performance. Didn't even get a color tv until I begged my mother crazy and she bought me a used 12 or 13 inch Zenith from a hotel sell in '82-- where they were upgrading to big 19 inch color tvs. It still cost a small fortune. I wasn't spoiled....lol...most parents back then wanted their kids in their own rooms or outside. or that's how it was with my family...not allowed in the family room at night and didn't want to be since all they watched was news and mystery shows...lol
