Not feeling her policy initiatives and I felt very underrepresented by her when she was my councilperson. She only catered to certain areas and certain people in her district. She just admitted it in this interview that it was, in fact, intentional. She might as well be MAGA if she feels that way. This city has people from many different races and cultures and we all deserve the same amount of care, consideration, and representation. Kensington is facing an opioid crisis and she couldn't even give a straight answer because she don't have one. She didn't do research like she did for that stadium. She talked to a lot of ppl about that stadium but not the worst public health crisis in the country? The area was featured on the introduction of the second GOP debate as a failure of Democratic leadership in major cities.

Developers will " take care" of the Kensington problem. Fishtown is maxed out. American St near Berks has a lot of open land. That area is less than a mile from the worst part of Kensington.

Sorry, I know this is late. Cherelle Parker has agreed to one debate with David Oh. -- She agreed to it on KYW Newsradio at 8 a.m. on Thursday, October 26. Gee, how many people will be able to listen? It's audio only, not video. Based on past experience with Parker, my hunch is that she insisted on the 8 a.m. time slot on a weekday because she new that viewership would be low. That debate will be broadcast live on KYW News Radio. In other forums, her campaign is insisting that the candidates appear separately. I don't see any word of the debate being recorded and shared to the public. Another hunch, since it will be audio only and not video, people cannot observe her non-verbal body language and facial expressions, and all of that is revealing of character and intent. The fact of her insisting on these terms is revealing in itself. This behavior on her part doesn't surprise me. IMO, it's a further sign of her conviction that she is unaccountable to us and that she owes us no explanations for her actions or positions on issues. She'll also consider herself unaccountable once she is mayor. She made that very clear to constituents when she was on Council.
