In all of the patterns I’ve made that call for a hoop turned into a symmetrical project (like I made a sleeves crop top) they always have me turn the project on each loop. I think that’s what keeps In symmetrical.

Yes you can but sense it’s a smaller hook it will take a little more time, also make sure you get a yarn that needs a size 3 hook! 💞

I wouldn't know unless I try it myself with your yarn and hook, and if then, we'd have different tensions. Since you already know how long you want to chain, just keep chaining until you reach that length, easier this way.

@@seliiGaming43 oh but your yarn is 4 ply? Mine is 8 ply. I honestly think it’s more risky if you focus on the stitch number over the measurement since it’s the measurement that matters here. Does it make sense?

So you wanna turn at the end of the each round? Yes, you can do that. The stitch will look different though.
