Chernobyl 2016 - Town of Chernobyl

Filmed on an iPhone 6S (all I had in the form of a video recorder at the time)
In December 2016 I visited Chernobyl, Ukraine for a two day tour. After the first checkpoint (30km) the first stop was the town of Chernobyl.
Chernobyl town is inhabited by workers of the CNPP and surrounding areas, majority of the soviet era flats are only occupied by about 3-4 workers.
Upon arrival at the center there is the museum of Chernobyl (Not open at the time) with the wormwood comet painting on the wall.
The statue made of metal shown in the video (albiet briefly) stands infront a line of all the towns affected in the Chernobyl disaster represented by the enty/exit signs.
We stay at the Chernobyl hotel, surrounded by row upon row of empty houses, some of which date back to Tsarist times. We enquired about exploring the houses but got told it was forbidden by the guards, of which there was quite a few.
In the last segment we visit a little vehicle museum of vehicles used during the cleanup after the Chernobyl Disaster. Such things like the remotely operated robots, BTRs and trucks. All of which had been decontaminated enough to be put on show.
The vehicle graveyard was restricted at this time.
