Chernobylite has just got ray tracing implemented, new weapon - Crossbow and many other fixes. Ray tracing is set to LOW because of performance limitations of my RTX2070 / bad game optimization. I also remind you that in Chernobylite it's not possible to shoot from the hip, therefore I'm not showing you sniper scopes because you won't see weapon then

@@Hedmanification not just that but although OP has a point some of these customizations seem very complex, whereas in an actual apocalyptic scenario one would want to keep stuff as simple as possible, because as you add more moving parts and mechanisms you also increase the likelihood of something breaking, and now you're screwed because theres a horde fast approaching and your weird ass belt fed revolver just shit the bed

Agreed, I love the gun customisation in Fallout 4 and Metro Exodus. Especially in Metro where you can do it whenever so if you're outside, you put a long barrel, scope, and less bullets for more stability and then when you go inside some bunker you shorten the barrel, put a reflex sight and get many more bullets, for you never know when you get a chance to reload.

Would have been a better design to have each belt cartridge link be it's own entire cylinder chamber. Like a bunch of metallic tubes placed side by side attached to a belt, that held the rounds in place, so it would keep the empty case within them as it cycles to the next round like a regular chamber in a revolver cylinder would. If I were to think of a real life take on a belt fed revolver I'd imagine it being set up like that

The sound is actually pretty close for a decently strong crossbow but the thing that annoys me is that the only way to reload a crossbow that easily would be to make it barely stronger than toy much less a functional weapon.

I read a comment on another video that said something like, this game is everything I wished Metro Exodus would've been and I feel that. It's like Tarkov, Metro, and Stalker all had a baby. I love this game, just got it tonight and it's in my top 5 console games now. Guns really feel thick and beefy. The only thing I hate is the enemy health bars, unless it's for a boss I think that's cheesy. But 8.7/10 game fs 💯
