Homegirl wrote and sung this for then-husband Randy Ran, who later tragically lost his life in a horrific motorcycle accident in 1992. Still remains a closet favorite of mine off her now-classic 'Affair' album. Geez, that woman's been through some real stuff in her life back in the day and yet she's still with us-a true soul survivor. PROPS!!! >;-)

STILL the "First Lady of Tabu Records", as I like to call her (Cherrelle, that is:::wink:::wink:::). Not many female singers from the 80's/early-90s period have continued to move me the way she does, either. Case in point: I already have her first four albums in my treasured CD collection, I have NONE of Janet's (not even her breakthrough 'Control' LP, lol). Says it all for me right there. :-)
