Thanks! We figured emulating the original P-10 sequencer was pointless - it's just a very limited version of what your DAW does a lot better anyway. The sequencer we did for Elka makes much more sense as a fun "synth step sequencer."

Great that Cherry is taking on the mighty P-10, especially as the original units were supposedly a massive pain to deal with. Altogether too much voltage in a single enclosure, I guess, so the things were infamous for going wobbly under stage lights, etc.

The old prophet 10 is fully stereo , you can output the first synth on the left and second on the right . I believe the reissue is mono
@celebutanteАй бұрын
@@gonreebgonreeb Just to be clear, Cherry P-10 can do this as well - just setthe Layer Pan control at upper-right to opposite settings for the Upper and Lower layers. Also, the chorus/flange, delay, and reverb are all stereo, so plenty of ways to spread things around in the stereo field.

Make sure you're keyboards MIDI channel is set to Channel 1, or set P-10's upper keyboard MIDI channel to match your controller.

@synthdan it is I cannot find the issue only exists on P10 works fine on all the other Cherry plugins must be a bug as modulation working fine and the other controls. I'll have to wait till its fixed before I buy as its not much good in this state.

nice video Tim, but this emulation has too many distractions from the core synthesis/sound power of the original instrument i play since 1986. Leading to misty complications the prophet 10 is much more than 2 stacked P-5's! The power is in the poly-mod and mod section, and the use of CV pedals. That would be a review focus to test the trustworthy emulation :-) maybe, in such reviews, have a dialog with owners of the original instrument and have comparisons as a discussion.... tnx!
