Today we check out the new Cherry Xtrfy M64 and M68 Pro. The first mouse since the merger between Cherry & Xtrfy. Xtrfy previously had been recognized as a brand that would take risks when they design their mice. But has the merger stunted their creativity? Or have they been allowed to go crazy with their new mice?

It happens sooo often. Hidden gem company gets hype and starts to suck.. or gets bought by other company and then starts to suck. OG Razer and Logitech were godlike products until they became extremely popular, Zowie used to be a "secret tip" for extremely high quality, longevity and best performance.. then they started sponsoring pro teams and merged with Benq.. and now Xtrfy merging with Cherry, drastically increasing prices.. So either I have to spend 100+ bucks every year for a new mouse because it will just give up.. or I have to search and search for another, less popular manufacturer that does a shape that fits my hand/grip every time I need a new one.. sucks.

Xtrfy M8 looks like a mix of G Pro and classic IntelliMouse. Even more so with the button height, red accents and 2 color gray'n white body. I don't think it's unique in this regard. Not the topic of the video exactly but wanted to chime in when you mentioned history of the brand. Thanks!

Unfortunately for me the MZ1, has to date been the mouse I've enjoyed the most, I saw the most improvements both in game and ergonomically for my hand and wrist. Though, I've now got a WL beast x mini on the way that I'm excited about and hope it'll become my new daily.

Too bad the Ultra ERGO MAX M64 Milk Edition kept the same design/placement of the side buttons from the M4. They were SO HIGH UP and annoying to use. Add to it the squishy scroll and my M4 has come out of the box maybe twice for 15 minutes each time in the 2-3 years I've had it. I want to like the shape, but it's apparently made for people with platypus tails for fingers.

Not just me, hey. I got it because I loved the shape but I would get random weapon switches when playing r6s with no input. After all the QC issues I had with the original's wire, I just gave up. Wanted to like Xtrfy so much, but while the wireless implementation was excellent, the continual problems were a pain given the price.

@@alkestos but I have tried it. That's why I made the comment. His mouse is made for a specific hand size and grip type. The comfort groves being extremely exaggerated don't allow for others to find a comfortable placement ontop. It's apparent that many reviewers, including him, don't always know what's best for everyone. This really is something you just have to try for yourself because of the many factors that work for you, may not work for everyone else. What Zy said that made me not trust him anymore was you needed to adjust to his mouse shape for a couple months. What that turns into is a mouse that's not for you that's past it's return window.

neither. I think a backup for saka is more important so we don't have a guy being ran in to the ground every game. I also don't think that buying a striker will dramatically improve that much when compared to adding depth in key areas. we literally have to go against city who have set a standard of if you don't play perfectly throughout the whole season you won't win the league. I think quality backups are more important as that's the area we lack in when compared to city. they have depth for a league title push.

the only breakthroughs I think that could happen that would provide actual noticeable benefits is probably in the shape/materials area. I think the only mice alternatives I have any interest in exploring is probably stylus and maybe trackballs
