used to hear this when we went on weekends from Frederick Douglass HS to Ocean City, we'd leave at 2am, crash on the deserted beach then wake up with people all around , then we'd race down the boardwalk! of course we'd have to fill up at the gas station with the 'pump bunnies!'

Watched them live in a cool club called the "Body Shop" in Marbury MD back in 1972-3. A memory of great local DC music in a small venue that will last forever...
