Frenzy were formed by Steve Whitehouse, following his successful stint in The Sharks, and went on to become a headline act in Psychobilly circles. Signing with I.D. Records, the band went on to enjoy Independent Chart top ten success with the "Clockwork Toy" album. Still touring and recording to the present day, Frenzy is enduringly one of Psychobilly's most popular acts. Enjoyable nonsense, evokes the era well: leaving home and being a psychobilly in the straight world, going to work and having to talk to people who didn't fit the superficial parameters I upheld so anxiously. Trying to be normal. Failing spectacularly. Good times. I had the LP.
