I am an absolute fan of Snape. Whether he redeemed himself or not is definitely subjective. But I think when it comes to the complexity of his character, he certainly prevails.

I loved Snape so much even from day 1 there was always just something about his character that always made me feel like we weren't getting the full story with him and it made me love him more. And when we do get to find out his past it broke my heart. He deserved so much better than he got.

I like Snape. He wanted to save Harry's mother and him. He killed Dumbledore but Dumbledore asked him to. He helped Harry Potter throughout his life.

I think this series has leveled up a lot. I love that Snape and Lockhart can interact and are on the same flooring. I sort of wish they could do that with more characters somehow. Can't lie, I'm disappointed more characters aren't represented, but the ones that are, are great! I do think they could've replaced one of the Rons (maybe the one with the slugs) with another character, and one of the Harrys.

I never read the books first, I decided to go see the first movie to see what all the fuss was about and instantly, as soon as I saw Snape walk into the Potions classroom, I was in love. So yes, always believed Snape was good, a tad rough around the edges, but otherwise good.

I really love Snape. Actually reading his backstory made me so angry at both James and Lily. In the end, he gave up everything including his life to protect Lily's son. I think he's fully redeemed himself. He's not a good person but he's not a bad person either and I think that is what makes him so amazing. He could have been like Voldermort but because of his love for Lily, he managed to not fully succumb to the Dark Arts. I think my favourite figures were Kitty Hermione, both of the Ron figures and Draco's though I really love them all. XD Anyone else thinks Draco almost looked like Loid Forger or is that just me? LOOOL.

I have never been a fan of Harry Potter books and everything surrounding them. I saw a couple of films when all the craze started and I think I red most of the books if not all (don't remember). I never understood what was so special about Harry himself, especially in the movies, where he always wears the same expressions. Many other characters, including background ones, had more characteristics. And I do not think that his parents were very likeable figures, so, to be honest, I did not mourn them. Snape definitely stood out and Alan Rickman was PERFECT for this role. These are my thoughts and I stick to them.

I really liked Hermione making the polyjuice potion. And yes. I grew to like Snape. He was traumatised and he loved Lily for the rest of his life. It takes a hard core wizard to fool Voldemort.

I loved Snape from beginning to end. I graduated last quarter from college and my dorm mates and I watched all of them during that time and I continued defending him. That was the first time I watched the movies at 23 years old and I regret not doing so sooner/ reading the books. One of them went on a 10+ minute rant of her explaining why she doesn’t like him. Honestly never understood people's love for Snape. Even if he redeemed himself in Harry's eyes, he remains a creep who was willing to sacrifice people for someone he wanted to posess, stalked her despite her clearly not wanting anything to do with him, bullied and traumatised generations of children for absolutely no reason whatsoever and in the end relied on pure chance that he could carry on Dumbledore's legacy (which wasn't exactly that brilliant in itself), threatening the whole plan necessary to rid the world of evil. To me he remains a mean, miserable man with questionable motives who in the end did a few things right, but was greatly helped by other people's cleverness and simple luck.
