I've never understood what people's hang up about hearing the sound of peeing in the bathroom. Like, it's a bathroom, what do you think we're doing in there - making a cake? Also, I've never experienced trouble asking for a tampon. Literally, "I forgot/ran out of tampons. Do you have one?" will do. Maybe that's just me and my friends, though.

This is interesting because any friend I've ever been in the bathroom with has never been ashamed to say "Hey do you have an extra tampon?". Like the word "tampon" is no big deal, also I've never met anyone who asked to have the faucet or blow drying while they're peeing we just do and aren't really concerned with the sound as much (unless we have gas...).
