Happy new year!!! I do have to agree with your brother, Die Hard is absolutely a Christmas movie. It takes place on Christmas, and it has a bit of a Christmas plot if I am remembering correctly. There are some movies that I just have to say are Christmas movies and this one makes my list for sure.

Happy new year! 🥰 Alan Rickman's diaries are great! Such a warm and funny book. I recently purchased it myself and read it immediately, laughing, feeling surprised, but also sometimes crying. It's so great that they decided to release the diaries so that everybody could read them. Makes us miss Alan even more. Rest in peace

You are the first female type person I've heard say that (well I didn't actually hear anything) I've always thought it was a guy versus gal thing. ONE guy got tired of his girlfriend always wanting to watch the Hallmark Christmas movies sooo... A Tradition Was Born (the fight will go on till the end of time) 100 years from now people won't remember that bread used to come Un Sliced nore will they know who Bruce Willis was. BUT the fight will still linger on. I Think Bruce Willis is the best thing since Sliced Bread but Die Hard is not a Christmas Movie. JK...

Meanwhile there are those of us who get nothing AT ALL or if something, a half assed gift that you didn't even put in the wishing list. Everyone else around me gets everything they want and every god damn year I'm disappointed and cry myself to sleep when everyone else is happy. I wish I was a part of a normal loving family like this.

YES! Die hard 1 is and always will be a Christmas movie must! That little hook, I received one in a small Liz Earle gift box with travel-sized cleanser and a cloth. It'll mean I stop draping my muslin cloth over the cold tap. ohh man i love starchild, best witch shop ever. i'm not a fan of the new shop as they moved from the courtyard and used to have this AMAZING door, it looked like a door from Rivendell it was amazing and the shop was so witchy but the new shop is just to modern looking for me but their herbs and candles are top notch, it's where i get my herbs and candles from. and it's always fun to visit.

Happy New Year, Cherry! Your Christmas sounds lovely, and surrounded by all those fantastic and thoughtful gifts. I'm sure you gave as good as you got. I'm so happy for you that your hosting went so well. It was just my mom, my sister and me. We had a very low key, relaxing Christmas. All your gifts were great. "Die Hard" is a Christmas movie, but I would disagree that it's the best and story I disagree with "Elf" as well. I guess I'm seriously old fashioned but I still consider "Its a Wonderful Life" as the best Christmas movie ever. The Ancestry DNA kit is great,. We all did ours a few years ago. Some of it was such a surprise. We always knew we were a mixed bunch, German, Irish, Danish etc, but we also found we were part Nigerian. It was such a surprise, not an unpleasant one, just totally out of the blue. My sister and I were always told that our paternal grandfather was part Native American, but we have no Native American at all. I hope you get your results soon and are pleased with the results. We were really tickled when we got ours, what a talking point with family and friends. Enjoy your time off. Hope you are doing something fun and resting up. Can't wait for the videos coming in the new year. Hope 2023 gets better with personal experiences and global happenings. The World needs some good things to come to it. Love and peace!

Oh my goddess! So many presents just from your parents? I got a photograph of my daughter this year as a present from my husband to hand on the wall. And I bought myself some books. That was it. My parents did not even buy me so much stuff when I was a kid. O.O For eating fresh and healthy I'm totally into Poke Bowl now. So delicious, easy to make and super healthy. And you can put different stuff in it every time so its not just the same all the time. So good! Love it so much.

We get one of each so it's fun for the one receiving the gift to find out who are they from that current year. We also get other gifts, but I like guessing who will gift me with socks and slippers. 😅 For me “Die Hard” is not a Christmas movie, but for some reason I don't understand they keep broadcasting it on TV for Christmas… after they're done with “Home Alone” which kind of annoys me already. 😐

OMG I Love Die Hard, I first wanted to see it because of Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman. I Absolutely Love it now. I watch it every chance I get. I Love the Gilmore Girls too. My daughter and I have it running on Netflix so anytime we just need background we'll play it but we also know just about every word that's being said while it's playing.
