Cherly Miller the Goat. Loved the story about Coach Pat. Pat Summit was known for giving players the business and the notorious stare down. Pat did so much for womens basketball and I know for certain. It wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for Pat Summit. May she rest in peace. I remember watching all of those great teams when I was in High School.

For all y'all folks that don't know . . . girls basketball during the early 80s had 6 players on the court! 3 on offense and 3 on defense separated by the mid-court line! And never shall the teams cross that line! Because the powers that be, thought girls shouldn't be exerting all that effort to play 🏀! So defense played defense and when they got a rebound they would dribble to the halfcourt line and pass it to the offense players --- no full-court fast breaks back then! And Cheryl Miller was the first person I had ever heard of scoring 100+ points in a legitimate HS game! So folks she was bad . . . so watch some tape on her because she was the first girl who I EVER saw who could probably beat me in hoops because she was 6' 2"! And I was one year her senior! #respect

Pat Summitt got me watching women's basketball. She was the GOAT. The way some of these girls act today? She wouldn't tolerate it. That's why I have little respect for Auriama and Mulkey. It wasn't just about winning for her. She molded her girls into the women they are today. Dawn Staley reminds me of Coach Summitt. I still root for the Vols but I root for South Carolina too. RIP coach. Miss you❤
