Diana Taurasi shouldn’t have gone to the Olympics! She was injured wasn’t she? In my opinion It was very selfish on her part to take a roster spot that would’ve been better occupied by Caitlyn Clark. I have no respect for selfish players. The right thing for Taurasi would have been to give up her roster spot to Caitlyn Clark.

I for one am glad CC didn't go to the Olympics. Hear me out. She's been playing non-stop for the entire year. She needed physical, mental and emotional rest. I do agree it would've been great seeing her play, the risk of her getting injured , however, during or after the Olympics would've been high. And exposing the nasty politics that goes on behind the scene is just the cherry on top. CC will be back well rested and ready to go.

Well, now that Reeve’s decisions are vindicated, and USA has a record setting gold (it’s a shame that silver would have somehow been a shame) let’s all celebrate 🎉 !!! Maybe tomorrow we can revisit whether ALL thoughts need to be expressed ad nauseum. Maybe we can trust the folks that are put in charge and not argue so dang much. Ogumbawale said something like she knew she wasn’t gonna be on the team so she backed out because she knows she wasn’t gonna be on the team or they wasn’t gonna pick her and she is a top 5 player actually I think she’s 2nd best behind A’ja Wilson. Even if it wasn’t Caitlin, Reeves and USA basketball went all in on a 42yo PG and a second PG coming off a major injury where she hadn’t been able to play until way after the selections had been made. Now Team USA is playing large parts of games with 2-guards playing the point. This was the dumbest coach’s decision on roster composition since John Thompson only picked one shooter for the ‘88 men’s team roster and then after Hersey Hawkins got hurt, he was left with no outside shooting in International games.

How is Team USA struggling? They haven't even played a close game? Give this a rest. Caitlin Clark needed to rest and people still wanted her in the Olympics for what? To play for a coach that doesn't like her and receive too few minutes? That would take on a life of its own. This video is what you call fake news. During the Round Robin stage, the US women were averaging around 25,000 fans per game. The US Men were also averaging around 25,000. In the knockout stage, the women are averaging just over 12,000 and the men, based on every other men's knockout stage game, will also average just over 12,000. The reason, they switched arenas. For the Round Robin stage, both men and women played at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Lille which is a giant soccer stadium. For the knockout stage, the games were moved to Accor Arena, Paris. Which is a much smaller indoor arena. The attendance is down because that's what capacity is.

I wish and know she should’ve been on the team but at the same time most of these girls or women on the team USA already don’t like Clark and I felt like where I feel like she would’ve been mistreated on that team.
