If Clark and company light up the US team, this all depends on how much time Clark gets on the court. Clark will be spoon-feeding players who know how to receive a pass, shoot 2Pt, 3Pt and make layups, Clark will be spoon Feeding - Boston (f we know how that goes), Jonquel Jones (C), Nneka Ogwumike (F) Kayla McBride (G 3pt 42.7%), Brionna Jones (F 53% FG) Arike Ogunbowale (G) This has the makings of being a long night of the old-school players and the US Coach.

And here he is considered a top-3 player all-time by a whole lot of everyone that weren't part of "born after Seinfeld went off the air", if not best ever, particularly by those that witnessed him. Okay. The first one is light-years away from being an assist. That better not be how they count "assists" in this league and the NBA.
@johnnaylor17065 ай бұрын
In the "ole days" it wouldn't but the accepted current definition is "There is some judgment involved in deciding whether a passer should be credited with an assist. An assist can be scored for the passer even if the player who receives the pass makes a basket after dribbling the ball for a short distance" and ...."An assist can occur if a player receives a pass and dribbles for a “short distance” before scoring. "While there is no definitive rule on how many dribbles are allowed for an assist to count, it appears that the consensus is if the pass leads to a score in 2 or less dribbles, it counts as an assist." She shot came after 2 dribbles.

Clark's critics' only argument now is "but, but the turnovers, all time high" Yes it is a lot of turnovers but when she's on pace to break an assist record that tends to drive up turnover numbers. And betting that many of the fans crying about her turnovers are Lebron fans. Lebron who has set the all time record for turnovers in the NBA.

The earlier clip had CC passed it to AB, but she dribbled twice before laying it up; Is it like just a momentum thing, where as long as the receiver's intent is to lay it up or shoot it right away it don't matter if she dribbled more than once? Or does it disqualify once the receiver holds the ball for a second or do those triple threat (jab, shot fake,etc)
